Noncommutative Values of Quantum Observables and Quantum Spacetime

Otto C. W. Kong

From a noncommutative geometric perspective on quantum mechanics, we introduce the exact mathematics establishing the notion of noncommutative values of the observables each of which captures the full information about the ‘value’ of an observable or a physical quantity for a fixed state. The value is a kind of noncommutative number, a piece of quantum information, which can equivalently be described by a set of infinite number of real numbers. We will discuss how the perspective give an intuitive picture of quantum mechanics and quantum spacetime.
